A: If your AACPMAS application was MAILED to programs last cycle, you are eligible to have your application information imported to the new cycle. Please click the large blue “Reapplying to AACPMAS?” button on the login page to proceed with creating a re-applicant account. DO NOT CLICK “CREATE NEW ACCOUNT” ON THE HOME PAGE.
A: No. AACPMAS can NOT carry over any applications that were not mailed last cycle. You will have to create a new account and resubmit all information.
A: Once you click the “Reapplying to AACPMAS?” button on the login page, you will be asked to provide your login information from last cycle. If you do not remember your login information, you will be asked to provide the email address which you used to create last cycle's account to have an access code emailed to you. Once you have logged in, you will be prompted to enter new “create account” information, including your name, email, and login information. When you click “create account” you will be taken to your NEW account, with all importable data from your prior account already in place.
A: No. Your login information can remain the same. Please note that you will be assigned a new AACPMAS ID# and the barcodes on your transcript request forms will be new.
A: Most application fields and verified transcripts (transcripts containing coursework calculated into your GPA last cycle by AACPMAS staff) will be imported into the new application. Once the import is complete, IT IS THE APPLICANT'S RESPONSIBILTY TO GO OVER ALL IMPORTED INFORMATION AND ENSURE IT IS COMPLETE AND ACCURATE.
A: Payments, your personal statement and transcripts containing updated coursework will NOT be carried over and must be resubmitted. In addition, there are fields on the AACPMAS application which have changed or been added since last cycle which will NOT be filled in by the import. Applicants will have to go over ALL sections of the application and ensure these new sections are filled in, as it will not necessarily be readily apparent from your application checklist that something is missing if the field is not required.
A: All imported information is locked so our staff knows what coursework we already verified from last cycle. If you need to add additional coursework for a school you had listed last cycle, you must add the school a second time in the institutions attended section and add the coursework under the second entry. This will also give you access to the transcript request form. You must then delete planned/in-progress work you had listed last cycle and renter these courses as completed.
A: To change this on your application, you must add your school a second time in the institutions attended section, and then re-list the professional work as academic. After this has been done, please contact AACPMAS customer service to have your professional coursework deleted. Please note that if you did not submit a transcript for your professional work last cycle, you will now be required to provide one. If AACPMAS already has a transcript on file for your professional work, please instruct the customer service representative to attach the previous received transcript to the updated school listing.
A: Any coursework we verified (calculated into your GPA) last cycle does not require transcripts. However, any new coursework you enter you must submit transcripts for.
A: Any MCAT scores that qualify (less than three years old) and AACPMAS received last cycle, will be sent with this cycle’s application.
A: You can still create a re-applicant account; however, if you used the same email address to sign up for your new account that you used last cycle you must change the email in your new account to a fake address (such as email@example.com) before you attempt to create a re-applicant account. Once you create the re-applicant account, send us an email with your AACPMAS ID numbers for both accounts and indicate which account you would like closed so we can place the account you made by accident on hold.
A: NO. You may only carry over application information from the previous cycle. Any information prior to that has been deleted.
